With Warde Manuel introduced as the Michigan athletic director Friday, UConn President Susan Herbst said in a press release that UConn “will begin a national search for a permanent successor immediately.” Herbst also appointed her chief of staff, Rachel Rubin, who began her career at UConn as an associate athletic director, as interim athletic director.
