NYX Gaming appoints Huw Thomas as Chief Development & Marketing Officer

Former Betsson Chief Commercial Officer (COO) Huw Thomas has been appointed by NYX Gaming Group as its new Chief of Corporate Development and Marketing Officer.

The appointment sees Thomas lead NYX Gaming’s external marketing strategy and commercial business development teams, as the igaming operator looks to expand its business services following a number of corporate acquisitions.

Thomas joins NYX Gaming after serving five years at Betsson (2010-2015), where he held various senior management positions including Head of Casino, Head of Betsson and COO. Thomas has further experience in managing multiple in-house igaming operations having led commercial operations from Betsson brands Betsafe, CasinoEuro and Nordicbet.

NYX Gaming has confirmed that Thomas will relocate from Malta to London in order to oversee day to day commercial operations. Having listed on the Toronto exchange in January of this year NYX Gaming15 acquired igaming technologies Chartwell Interactive and Cryptologic for a combined sum of £80 million
