1500 residents in Topeka were without power Sunday morning

Westar Energy says more than 1500 residents in Topeka were without power Sunday morning.
The outage was first reported around 8:30 a.m.
The area affected spanned several blocks, hitting the intersection of SW Huntoon St. and SW Gage Blvd. the hardest.
Westar Energy restored the power by 11 a.m.
Still no word on what caused the outage.
