Tractor Supply Q3 Earnings Climb 14%

Tractor Supply (TSCO) released a profit for its third quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $87.31 million, or $0.64 per share. This was higher than $76.60 million, or $0.55 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.63 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 8.8% to $1.48 billion. This was up from $1.36 billion last year.
