EQT Corp. Profit Falls In Q3

EQT Corp. (EQT) Thursday said its net profit for the third quarter fell to $40.8 million or $0.27 per share from last year's $98.6 million or $0.65 per share.

Loss before the impact of derivative transactions was $0.33 per share, whereas the consensus of analysts polled by Thomson Reuters, which typically excludes special items, was $0.18 loss per share.

Total operating revenues at the integrated energy company was lower at $577.015 million, compared to $578.72 million a year ago. The Street had expected revenues of $482 million for the quarter.
