Police have responded to a car that has hit a building.The car crashed through the front window of the Big Lots store on Taylorsville Road at Hikes Lane.It happened at about 11:40 a.m. Tuesday.According to LMPD spokeswoman, Alicia Smiley, an elderly woman attempting to park in the McMahon Plaza lot accidentally stepped on the gas instead of the brake and ran into the window of Big Lots.The woman, who was the only person in the vehicle, did not sustain any injuries, but was taken to the hospital.No one was injured in the accident.Charges are not expected to be filed.
