UPDATED: Police identify suspects in Buford 'movie money' fraud investigation, one in custody

Gwinnett County Police investigators have obtained arrest warrants for three people accused in a fraud investigation at two Buford Wal-mart stores.

Travis B. Taylor, 36, of Blakely, Ga., Melissa A. Sinquefield,30, of Buford and Jocelyn Gerstenlauer, 19, of Auburn are accused of using "movie set" money to purchase approximately $1,000 worth of lawn equipment, which was then returned to a different store for a cash refund, according to a news release.

In an afternoon update Tuesday, police said Gerstenlauer has turned herself in, and Sinquefield was "aware of the warrants and has made plans to turn herself in in the upcoming days."

Taylor is accused of passing the fake money, which was marked with "for motion picture use only," at Gerstenlauer's cash register.

Gerstenlauer never returned to work after a loss prevention officer at the Wal-mart, which is located on Sardis Church Road, discovered the bills in her drawer.

Sinquefield returned the merchandise to the store on Ga. 20 near I-985 later that day, July 19.

Taylor is accused of a similar crime in Early County (where Blakely is located), and has active warrants in that jurisdiction.

Authorities believe Taylor and Sinquefield have left metro-Atlanta, and could be in Early County.

Taylor, Sinquefield and Gerstenlauer are all charged with first degree forgery; Sinquefield also faces charges of theft by deception and violation of her probation.

Anyone with information on any of the suspects' whereabouts is asked to contact Gwinnett County Police.
