Noteworthy: The 5-foot-10, 180-pound cirner back has been a key performer on both sides of the ball for the Cougars (9-3) who advanced to the West Division semifinal with a 53-28 win over favored Tesoro. On offense Redd had 12 carries for 75 yards as well a catch for 23 yards and a touchdown, But it is on defense where he has drawn a dozen or so offers from Division I colleges including USC, UCLA and Michigan. In the most recent win Redd recorded five tackles, an interception that went for a touchdown and two passes break-ups. Redd was a first-team All-Baseline League and All-Inland Valley selection last year as a sophomore,
