Gander Mountain is back.

Well kind of.

The outdoor retailer has reopened as Gander Outdoors. The 31,080-square-foot store at 725 Town Center Drive in West Manchester Township, York County opened for business last week.

The store will sell items for hunting, fishing, marine and water sports, camping,  and shooting sports. The store will hold a grand opening celebration beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday.

The Gander Mountain assets were purchased in bankruptcy court in May of last year. Marcus Lemonis, of CNBC's The Profit and chairman of Camping World purchased the assets and started to reopen some of the former Gander Mountain stores as Gander Outdoors. Camping World Holdings is based in Illinois. There is a Camping World store in West Hanover Township.

A Gander Mountain store in the Chambersburg area reopened as Gander Outdoors at 3285 Black Gap Road in Greene Township, Franklin County earlier this year. Gander Outdoors plans to open six stores in the state, some of which have already opened, in the Chambersburg, York, Johnstown, Dickson City, Greensburg and Muncy areas.

A Gander Mountain store on Jonestown Road in Lower Paxton Township closed in 2016. Giant Foods later relocated a store to that location.
