Trane opens center in Jackson

Trane, a global provider of indoor solutions and services and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, recently opened a company-owned commercial sales and service office at 851 Wilson Dr. in Jackson.

This newest Trane location becomes part of the Tennessee/Mississippi district, which has provided nearly 90 years of service to Tennessee, Mississippi and East Arkansas. The office will provide sales and service to consulting engineers, contractors and building owners and managers with a focus on Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and Jackson, Mississippi.

The new sales and service office will offer Trane solutions, controls, services, contracting energy solutions and rental services. The staff is adding 19 new jobs to the region, which will be filled as soon as possible.

"Trane has served this region of the country for nearly a century and we are pleased to provide a more convenient location for valued customers and future customers in the Jackson region," said Brian Durr, district general manager for Tennessee/Mississippi Trane.

Trane Supply serves the commercial and residential contractor market, so the co-located store and sales office enables commercial contractors to meet their sales, service, parts and supply needs in one location.The store, which also will focus on the Hattiesburg and Jackson markets, will host a grand opening event for commercial and residential contractors this fall.
