TORONTO, S.D. – Some of the most active companies traded Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange:

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace and transportation. Down 17 cents, or 6.54 per cent, to $2.43 on 13 million shares.

Ram Power Corp. (TSX:RPG). Utilities. Unchanged at half-a-cent on 10.7 million shares.

Mart Resources Inc. (TSX:MMT). Miner. Up three cents, or 5.26 per cent, to 60 cents on 8.6 million shares.

Merus Labs International Inc. (TSX:MSL). Healthcare. Up 18 cents, or 7.09 per cent, to $2.72 on 5.9 million shares.

Western Forest Products Inc. (TSX:WEF). Forest Products. Up six cents, or 2.82 per cent, to $2.19 on 5.1 million shares.

Eldorado Gold Corp. (TSX:ELD). Miner. Down 49 cents, or 6.80 per cent, to $6.72 on 4.6 million shares. The company says environment officials in Greece have revoked approval for its Greek subsidiary, Hellas Gold S.A., to complete final construction of the processing plant at its Skouries project. It says it believes the notice from the Ministry of Productive Reconstruction, Energy and Environment has no legal basis and will take action to protect its legal rights if necessary.

Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan (TSX:POT). Agriculture. Up 21 cents, or 0.47 per cent, to $45.06 on 1.2 million shares. The company has signed an agreement to buy a 9.5 per cent stake in Brazil-based Fertilizantes Heringer S.A. from controlling shareholders for US$55.7 million. PotashCorp says the agreement, subject to regulatory approvals, paves the way for a long-term potash supply agreement that would allow it to become Heringer’s principal supplier.

Saputo Inc. (TSX:SAP). Dairy. Down eight cents, or 0.22 per cent, to $36.24 on 381,184 shares. The Quebec-based dairy giant has signed a deal to buy the everyday cheese business of Lion-Dairy & Drinks Pty Ltd. based in Victoria, Australia, for $134.4 million in cash. The purchase includes $104.1 million for inventory net of a minimal amount of assumed liabilities.

TransCanada Corp. (TSX:TRP). Oil and gas. Up 43 cents, or 0.78 per cent, to $55.22 on 2.7 million shares. The company’s Keystone XL pipeline received an emphatic endorsement from a powerful supporter. Billionaire investor Warren Buffett says he would have approved the project, designed to move oilsands bitumen from Alberta to refineries on the Gulf Coast.
