J. Lee and Laura Ann (Armstrong) Donaldson of Monroe City will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a family cook out on Memorial Day and a trip to West Baden Hotel in French Lick at a later date.
The couple married on May 28, 1978 in Mount Olympus.
Laura is the daughter of the late George and Frances Armstrong of Hazleton. She is employed at First Financial Bank.
J. Lee is the son of Dorothy Donaldson of Fowler and the late Jack Donaldson. He is employed at Peabody Coal.
They have one daughter, Meagan Leanne Keyes, and her husband, Scott, of Wheatland; and three grandchildren, Lauren, Owen and Scout Keyes.
