China Precision Steel Appoints Hai Chen As CEO, Zu De Jiang As COO

China Precision Steel, Inc. (CPSL) announced that it has appointed Hai Sheng Chen as the company's new Chief Executive Officer or CEO and Zu De Jiang as the company's new Chief Operation Officer or COO, effective as of May 1, 2010.

The company stated that, Chen is replacing Wo Hing Li who is stepping down from the role of Chief Executive Officer but will remain Chairman of the company's Board of Directors.

Chen is a co-founder of China Precision Steel and has been the General Manager of the company since July 2002. From July 2001 to July 2002, he was the Managing Director of Shanghai Krupp Stainless Steel Co. Limited. From August 1999 to May 2001, Chen was the Deputy General Manager of Pudong Steel Co. Limited, a subsidiary of the Baosteel Group, a steel processing company, China Precision Steel said.

Commenting about Jiang, the company stated that he has been with China Precision Steel since the company was founded in 2002. He served as the company's Assistant General Manager from February 2002 to February 2007 and as Assistant CEO since March 2007. Prior to joining the company, Jiang served from September 1996 to June 2001, as the Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Pudong Stainless Steel Thin Plate Co., Ltd.
