In trading on Friday, precious metals shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 3.5%. Leading the group were shares of Golden Star Resources (GSS), up about 18.4% and shares of Timmins Gold (TGD) up about 15.3% on the day.
Also showing relative strength are water utilities shares, up on the day by about 1.7% as a group, led by York Water Company (YORW), trading up by about 3.4% and Middlesex Water Company (MSEX), trading higher by about 2.1% on Friday.
