The budget for this agreement represents an average wage increase of 2.3%.

In particular, this agreement includes measures set out in the 'recognition of employees' skills and qualifications' agreement that was signed on 20 February 2017 through specific budgets designed to recognize the development of employees' competencies and career paths. This will contribute to the development of competencies that will become necessary in the future.

It also includes reinforced wage increases for the first-level pay grades, as well as specific measures to promote professional equality and young people who have joined the company in recent years.

On signing the agreement, Jérôme Barré, Executive Director in charge of Human Resources at Orange, said: 'I welcome the signing of this agreement, which allows us to concretely translate our promise as a digital and human employer by recognizing the individual and collective contribution of Orange employees to the efforts to adapt our business model in a particularly demanding environment'.
