PAMPA, Tex. — Texas and Oklahoma experienced tornado watches and warnings Monday, but an oil plant in Texas suffered the brunt of it.

A Halliburton plant was leveled in Pampa after it was struck by a tornado Monday night.

The Gray County Sheriff’s Office said no one was inside the building when it was destroyed.

The tornado damage reportedly caused a chemical leak.

The hazmat team from Potter County is en route to the scene. Several other fire departments are also assisting.
