"Hotel Transylvania 2" is among some movies Regal Cinemas in Henrietta will screen in a "sensory friendly" environment, the company said.

Henrietta's Regal Cinemas 18 will turn down the volume and turn up the lights for three upcoming "sensory friendly" screenings for the entire family.

The Regal Entertainment Group announced last week that Pan (Oct. 24), The Peanuts Movie (Nov. 21) and The Good Dinosaur (Dec. 12) will all be screened at the Marketplace Drive theater under its new My Way Matinee program for families with autistic children. Families are encouraged to sing, dance and shout during the screenings too.

"My Way Matinee kicks off with four of the biggest family films of the upcoming season," said Richard Grover, vice president of marketing and communications at Regal Entertainment Group. "In partnership with the autism organization Puzzles International, My Way Matinee creates a warm and inviting atmosphere so everyone can enjoy the movies."

All shows begin at 10:30 a.m. Tickets cost $6.50.
