INDIANAPOLIS - A sixth soccer newcomer was recently named a TeamSnap Spring State Star by TopDrawerSoccer. Incoming freshman
Natalie McNally was named among the top prep players in the state of Illinois, becoming the fourth member of Head Coach
Chris Johnson's recruiting class to gain mention. Three players -
Kamryn Benscoter,
Jessi Cowen and
Miranda Ricks - were named Fall State Stars by TopDrawerSoccer earlier this week.
McNally, an athletic 5-foot-10 defender, was a two-time All-Area and All-Regional selection. She helped her Warren Township High School team to conference and regional titles in 2017 and the best record in school history. She also aided her Greater Libertyville Soccer Association FC1974 to the 2012 Midwest Regional League crown and to the 2013 USYS Midwest Regional semifinals and U.S. Club National Finals.
McNally and the Jaguars will report for preseason later in August to prepare for the program's first season of Horizon League play.
