The University of Massachusetts basketball team makes its first road trip of the season Tuesday when the Minutemen head east to take on in-state rival Harvard.

Tip off is set for 7 p.m. at Lavietes Pavilion in Cambridge.

Be sure to check out MassLive.com's preview for the game, as well as all UMass basketball coverage right here.

If you won't be driving into the city to catch the game in person, don't worry! We've got you covered as you look for somewhere to follow along with the action. Let's take a look your options:

Live blog

First off, I'd suggest giving me a follow on Twitter because I'll be sharing commentary throughout the game. Those updates will also be part of a live blog I'll be running right here on MassLive.com.

For a lot of you, this might end up being your best bet to follow along Tuesday night.

Television

Technically, the game will be broadcast on television. But it's not going to be much help to many fans (unless you're a DirecTV or DISH Network subscriber).

The network for the game will be NESN National, which is an offshoot of the local sports channel everyone knows and watches regularly. However, NESN National only broadcasts outside of New England. So if you live around here, you're not going to get it. I guess that's what happens when you get bumped in importance by the Bruins.

Here's a run down of where you can find NESN National if you live outside of the region and want to crosscheck your cable provider:

Online video

If you won't be watching on NESN National, you can still stream the game online via the Ivy League Digital Network.

It'll cost you a pretty hefty sum for a one-day pass, however – $9.95. There's no guarantee as to what quality the live stream will be, either.

To order the pass, click the above link scroll down to the "Choose School" tab and select Harvard. That will unlock the "School Day Pass" selection option for you to sign up and pay.

Radio

As always, fans can listen to the game on the radio with Josh Maurer and Tim Collins. Here are the local stations:

  • 105.5 FM
  • 830 AM
  • 95.9 FM
  • 1200 AM

You can also listen online via WEEI's website or with the TuneIn Radio app for smartphones and tablets.

If worst comes to worst, you can always just follow along with the live stats on GameTracker.
