Business briefs: Chamber announces employee of month

● The Little Falls Area Chamber of Commerce announced that Angela Dooley has been named its September Employee of the Month.

Dooley has worked at Coborn’s Superstore for six years.

● CentraCare Clinic – Adult & Pediatric Urology recently welcomed Elizabeth Phillips, MD, to its team.

Dr. Phillips received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medial School. She completed her urology residency and fellowship at Boston University Medical Center.

● The Board of Directors of Geringhoff International announced the appointment of Tosh Brinkerhoff as president and CEO of Geringhoff North America.

Brinkerhoff was previously employed by John Deere, where he held several senior roles including the management of the global order fulfillment organization for combines, sugar and cotton harvesters.

He will be based in St. Cloud and lead Geringhoff’s North American activities.

GeoComm announced it has been selected by the Kansas Department of Transportation to assist with the statewide dataset aggregation and conflation project.

This project will deliver a statewide GIS dataset utilized by both local and state agencies throughout Kansas, containing road centerlines, address points, highway intersection points, and boundary features such as a public safety answering point service areas.

● The following St. Cloud Hospital nurses have advanced to Level III in the clinical laddering system, a career advancement recognition system for registered nurses who provide direct patient care and meet specific criteria above their required duties:

They are: Nick Gruber, Surgery; Brittney Huisinga, Neurology/Spine Center; Kathy Klaustermeier, Patient Care Support; Bridget Klein, Telemetry/Cardiovascular Thoarcic Unit; Lois Lenzmeier, Intensive Care Unit; Hanni Lyon, Patient Care Support; Rachel Miller, Kidney Dialysis Inpatient; Carol Primus, Coborn Cancer Center; May Schomer, Rehabilitation; and Jessica Thoma, CentraCare Heart & Vascular Center.

ABBA Roofing & Construction of St. Cloud recently was honored with CertainTeed Corp.’s ShingleMaster Tenured Member Status.

The roofing credential represents contractors who are focused on superior standards of workmanship and customer service.

Robert Trisko, of St. Cloud, won one of the four outstanding achievement ribbon awards presented to the top artists in Port Clinton Arts Festival on Aug. 29 and 30 in Highland Park, Illinois.

This show ranks as one of the best art fairs in the United States.
