Apollo Investment Reports Q3 Net Investment Income Per Share Of $0.24

Apollo Investment Corporation (AINV) reported a third-quarter loss per share of $0.09 per share, compared to profit of $0.45 per share, prior year. Net investment income per share for the quarter was $0.24.

On average, 14 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.23 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Total investment income increased to $110.03 million from $94.56 million last year. Analysts expected revenue of $106.20 million for the quarter.

The company announced that its Board has declared a dividend of $0.20 per share for the third fiscal quarter of 2015, payable on April 6, 2015 to stockholders of record as of March 20, 2015.
