Air Products & Chemicals (APD) Has Jumped To A 1-Month High On Q3 Results

Air Products & Chemicals Inc. (APD) reported third quarter adjusted EPS of $1.65 Thursday morning, up from $1.46 in the previous year. Analysts expected EPS of $1.58. The company expects to report fourth quarter earnings per share from continuing operations of $1.75 to $1.85 and between $6.50 and $6.60 for the full year. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $1.77 and $6.45.

Air Products & Chemicals gapped open sharply higher Thursday morning and is now up 9.25 at $143.39. The stock has jumped to a 1-month high and has re-crossed its 50-day moving average.
