L’Oreal and Estee Lauder are the top two global beauty companies with 2015 revenues of $28 billion and $11 billion, respectively. Makeup comprises around 20% and 40% of our stock price valuation for L’Oreal and Estee Lauder, respectively. We observe that Estee Lauder’s revenue and EBITDA growth rates had been significantly higher than L’Oreal, though the latter enjoys a bigger portion of the global makeup market.
