Gloucester Township Police Seek Suspect in Dollar Tree Cell Phone Theft

The woman allegedly stole took another customer's phone when they left it on the counter.

Gloucester Township Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman accused of stealing another customer’s cell phone at the Dollar Tree on Cross Keys Road on June 11.

The victim accidentally left their Apple iPhone, covered in a pink Otterbox, behind on the store’s cash register conveyor belt.

The suspect, wearing all blue clothes which appear to be medical scrubs, approached the register and covered the victim’s phone with large white construction paper she was buying.

The suspect then allegedly slipped the phone into her pocketbook, and continued with her purchase when the store clerk approached the register.
