Five Midland University tennis players have been named to the 2018 Daktronics-NAIA-Scholar-Athlete Team.
Ryan Vitera, a junior from Grand Island, and Dylan Hatanales, a junior from Cheyenne, Wyoming, were recognized for the men.
Annie Allmand, a junior from Holdrege, Kayla Bussing, a junior from Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Anna Watts, a senior from Ogallala, were honored for the women.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have attended two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer.
