Maria Sharapova is known for staying on top of her game on the tennis court.
The Russian silver medalist proved that she's even got a strong arm while playing in high heels at the 2015 American Express Rally in New York City on Wednesday.
Maria was a stylish sight in a black lace top over loosely fitting black trousers that were cuffed at the ankles to reveal a pair of T-strap black stilettos.

While many would be reticent to wear such high heels to a tennis game, the blonde 28-year-old WTA pro didn't hold back and enjoyed taking a few swings in her fancy footwear.
Maria was smiling yet focused as she swung her racket at the green tennis ball, her sleek hair cascading down her back and over her shoulders.
The slender stunner took to Instagram to share a quiet moment beside the river while dressed in her evening attire.

As Maria stands a sturdy 6 ft 2 next to Kevin's 5 ft 8, that made for an interesting sight.

Fellow WTA tennis player Monica Puig was dressed in sporty gear including navy mini-skirt and green printed top along with pink trainers.
Pro tennis player John Isner was also among the star guest, and he also couldn't wait apparently to get on the court and serve.
