“DeVry University is different from other colleges in that we focus on meeting the needs of our students and our partners, like Lyft,” said Robert Paul, president of DeVry University. “We’ve created an educational model designed for today’s working college student, who balances a job, life, and school. And we offer relevant programs with the hiring needs of our partners in mind.”

Drivers on the Lyft platform are able to earn their degree on their own time in a modality that meets their needs, whether online, on-campus or a mix of both. In addition to coursework, students will have access to career development opportunities, such as virtual internships or executive one-on-one sessions, to better prepare them for careers in their field of study. DeVry University students have the opportunity to earn extra income and become drivers on the Lyft platform.

“Not only does Lyft enable individuals to earn extra money on a flexible schedule, but we are now offering drivers the opportunity to earn their degree on their own time, at their own pace," said Oliver Hsiang, vice president of partnerships at Lyft. "We're thrilled to have found a partner in DeVry University and look forward to continuing to build on this relationship to bring even more useful tools to student and driver communities across the country."
