D.R. Horton – with plenty of experience in Parker’s Pine Bluffs area near three highly rated Douglas County Schools – is giving a preview of its newly-completed models at Hilltop Pines today. You can tour two new models including a ranch with an elaborately-finished walkout level – and better yet, you can already see how trails that wander tree-lined Tallman Gulch will carry kids to school from here, avoiding all but one grade-level street intersection.

That’ll be true for younger kids biking ten minutes north down the trail to Iron Horse Elementary, rated 8-of-10 stars at GreatSchools.org – separated along the trail from Hilltop Pines by only a single secondary intersection; also for high schoolers who turn east up the trail, bound for Legend High, 9-of-10 stars, a ten-minute bike ride without crossing a single street.

Meanwhile, you’re going to like the looks of these models, including a roomy Keystone ranch, showing a wide-open great room, bay-windowed master, an entertainment-sized covered deck, and a very appealing option for finished basement space: attractive wet-bar area, game room, media theater, added guest suite with bath, plus an additional powder room serving the party area. Right now, the base price for that home in Hilltop Pines is $434,950; and you can view floor plans for three even more affordable Adventure Series designs from as low as $409,950, online at DRHorton.com/Colorado.

Next door to the Keystone, you can tour the roomy Vail model – four bedrooms plus a main-floor flex room that could work as a fifth bedroom with bath — 3,233 square feet plus another 1,569 square feet unfinished in the basement. It’s showing off a full-sized spa-styled shower in the master suite – full-height window and rain head included, all standard. The price is from $459,950. You can also add a 3-car garage on many sites.

If that home has appeal to you, D.R. Horton’s sales representatives Carla Lunka and Michelle Christie can show you a Vail model nearby that the builder has on track to deliver this October. If you’ve been looking for a resale house and can’t believe how pricey and competitive that market has become, D.R. Horton still has a small selection of homes that can be delivered this summer, across Hilltop Road in nearly-closed out Pine Bluffs. Those include a Potomac ranch – two bedrooms plus a formal dining room, with two-and-a-half baths, along with a deck and a day-lighted garden level basement. It’s ready to view, priced at $433,985.

All of these homes have a commuter location that benefits from Parker’s growing shopping and dining area just northwest via Hilltop – including its Old West styled downtown; and offers choices of new routes into I-25 and the Denver Tech Center via Hess, Ridgegate Parkway, Lincoln, or E-470.

To reach the preview at Hilltop Pines, take Parker Road south from 470, past Mainstreet, two miles to Hess; turn left up Hess a half-mile to Hilltop Road, then turn left to a first right at Scenic Park Drive.
