Comcast bolstering presence in Voorhees, adding 42K sq. ft.

Comcast Corporation is expanding its already large presence at the Voorhees Technology Center, Colliers International announced Monday.Comcast, already a tenant in the Voorhees building, is growing its footprint by 42,000 square feet in early 2016, bringing its total to more than 150,000 square feet at the 401 White Horse Road property.

The building is undergoing upgrades, Colliers said.

“This lease continues a common theme in 2015 where landlords have spent capital dollars upgrading their assets to better compete in the marketplace,” Colliers’ Brian Sherlock said in a prepared statement. “With vacancy rates where they are, this is more important now than ever.”

The real estate services firm said its Southern New Jersey team of Sherlock and Evan Zweben represented the landlord in the deal. Binswanger’s Marc Policarpo and Bob Corr represented the tenant.

Harris School of Business is the other tenant at the 215,000-square-foot building.
