A new wave rolls in for PBteen’s Kelly Slater line

Collection’s second edition launches today

PBTeenSan Francisco – Surf’s up – again – at PBteen.

The Williams-Sonoma Inc. nameplate and licensing partner Kelly Slater, the 11-time world surfing champion, have expanded their alliance with a second edition of the collection hitting stores and online today.

Like the initial collection, the new offering is eco-conscious, based on Slater’s “genuine passion for sustainability.” All of the product designs are inspired by a desire to reduce environmental impact, PBteen said.

Included are bedroom and study assortments for both surfer girls and boys, across more than 30 pieces like furniture built with FSC-certified wood as well as reclaimed wood, 100% certified organic bedding and pillows, and rugs made with recycled fibers.

Pricing ranges from $29 to $1,999.

“Bringing attention to global conservation both inside and outside the home is important to me and in collaborating with PBteen we are able to bring awareness to teens, those who are the future of protecting our environment,” said Slater.
