Lakewood police arrest a suspect for receiving stolen property and misusing credit cards.

Receiving stolen property, Madison Avenue: Employees of The Greek Village Restaurant called police about 12:17 p.m. April 25 to report a caller placed an order using a stolen credit card and they were supposed to pick up the order in about 10 minutes. Police arrested a man for receiving stolen property and misuse of credit cards. The suspect also has a warrant from the Parma police department.

Disorderly conduct, Detroit Avenue: Police were called about 12:30 a.m. April 28 about a large fight inside and outside a Detroit Avenue tavern. Police cited two men for disorderly conduct by intoxication and released them to a sober adult.

Suspicious situation, Lakewood Avenue: Police received a call about 2:30 p.m. April 26 from a Lakewood Avenue resident who found a 2-year-old walking around outside unsupervised. Police discovered the youngster belonged to a nearby family who reported a misunderstanding about who was supposed to be watching the toddler.

Complaint, Detroit Avenue: Employees of the Dollar General store called police at 4:40 p.m. April 26 to report a couple of people who were in the store were believed to have taken some items and fled. Video showed a man placing some items in a bag and leaving the store without paying. However, the video did not show what items were taken.

Theft, Quail Street: A woman told police about 10 p.m. April 26 that her purse was stolen from her unlocked car. The purse contained her car and house keys. She asked for special attention by police to her house in case the thief returns.

Petty theft, Madison Avenue: A caller about 8 a.m. April 25 reported a car parked in front of a Madison Avenue bar was broken into.

Petty theft, Clifton Boulevard: Police cited a woman for petty theft about 2:30 a.m. April 24 after being called to CVS pharmacy. Employees report seeing the woman opening packets of makeup.

Burglary, Arliss Drive: A resident called police just before 4 p.m. April 24 to report coming home and finding his apartment burglarized. His door was unlocked and items including a television set were missing.
