Police: Armed Robbery at Bank in Woodbridge Area
Police searching for suspect after robbery at Carter Bank & Trust on Tuesday afternoon.
Officers are searching for a bank robbery suspect Tuesday night in the Woodbridge area.
The man reportedly entered the Carter Bank & Trust at 12791 Harbor Drive. He brandished a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.
The suspect fled on foot. Police describe the suspect as a black male, 23-27 years old, 5’10” with a medium build. He was wearing a green shirt, khaki or light colored pants and sunglasses carrying a reusable shopping bag.
