Local Allstate agent Chris Manfredi received the Allstate Agency Hands in the Community award for his “commitment to volunteering in the community.”

As part of the award, The Allstate Foundation donated a $1,000 grant to the Southold Union Free School District. Mr. Manfredi, a Southold resident, volunteers at the school.

“Christopher is an active and respected member of the business community, protecting customers with insurance and financial services products,” said Don Rubbo, New York regional sales leader at Allstate Insurance Company, in a statement. “He also makes it a priority to dedicate his time and efforts to make a difference in people’s lives. Christopher exemplifies the full spectrum of what it means to be an Allstate agent and has truly become a name and face in his community.”

The Allstate Foundation, established in 1952, is an independent charitable organization that partners with nonprofits across the country in an effort to enhance people’s “wellbeing and prosperity.”
