Royal family releases two photographs of Princess Charlotte

Pictures of the six-month-old princess were taken by her mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, at their family home

Two official pictures have been published of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s six-month-old daughter as a thankyou to royal fans for the good wishes sent to the couple.

The duchess took the photographs of Princess Charlotte at their family home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk early in November.

The duchess is an accomplished amateur photographer and took a joint portrait of her children, George, aged two, and Charlotte, a few weeks after her daughter was born on 2 May.

The last time the princess was seen in public was in July during her christening at St Mary Magdalene church on the Queen’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

In the first picture released, the baby is shown sitting in a chair with a toy and is howling with laughter as her mother snaps away with the camera – believed to be the same Canon model she used for previous shots of her children.
