A British mom who guzzled four liters of Coca-Cola a day lost almost half her body weight after she cut out the fizzy drink.
Sarah Turner went from 245 pounds down to 126 pounds after ditching the soda, which she says she was addicted to.
The mom-of-three, 27, dropped the pop after realizing she was consuming almost a pound of sugar a day.
“It’s literally completely changed my life losing this weight – I can do so much more now and I’ve completely given up Coke”, she told the Daily Mirror.
Sarah, who began her diet a year ago but still won’t eat fruit, vegetables or salad, said the worst thing about her weight was being unable to play with kids Spencer, 8, Grace, 7, and Ava Mai, 2.
The Birmingham native added that “Not being able to play with my children was the worst thing to me – that look of disappointment in their eyes when I said I couldn’t go to the park upset me so much.
“I was always tired and had no energy to do anything but now I can take my children out and run round in the park with them.”
A spokesperson for Coca-Cola Great Britain said “All of our drinks can be enjoyed as part of a balanced diet and lifestyle.”
