Microsoft is making its Surface Studio all-in-one PC available outside the US for the first time on April 20th. Starting today, the Surface Studio and Surface Dial will both be available to preorder in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. Microsoft says the devices will be available to purchase in these markets on April 20th. Unusually, no European markets have been included in Microsoft’s first expansion of the Surface Studio.

Alongside the Surface Studio expansion, Microsoft is also bringing its updated Surface Book with the performance base to more countries. Preorders will begin today in Austria, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. The Surface Book with performance base will be available to purchase in all of these markets on April 20th.

The Surface Book expansion could be more evidence that we won’t see a new Surface Book 2 just yet. Reports claimed earlier this month that the next Surface Book would be a clamshell laptop design, but a recent report from ZDNet suggests that Microsoft will hold a Surface hardware event in the spring without the Surface Book 2.
