The corporation and the Center for Economic Development and Business Research at WSU will host the 2015 Annual Dodge City Area Economic Outlook Conference on Thursday, October 22 at the United Wireless Arena Conference Center.

Knight talked about KEOT, a way to help businesses throughout the state.

"It's the Kansas Economic Outlook Team," Knight said. "We talk quarterly and it's a way to help each other, voice opinions on situations and network with one another.

"Business development is all about networking and this conference helps us to do that."

Cost for the conference is $75 and includes lunch. Jeremy Hill, director of the Center for Economic Development and Business Research at WSU is one of the people speaking at the conference.

"I'm excited to have Jeremy here," Knight said. "He's going to be showing some comparisons to our community and other communities.

"It's going to show how important networking and also what we offer in comparison to other cities."

Other items of discussion will be Economic and Industry Insights, Real Estate Outlook, State Employment Forecast and Networking.
