Time Warner Cable will launch its new, "better organized" channel lineup Tuesday (June 2), and it will include Omaha NBC affiliate WOWT in high definition for digital subscribers.
Channels 1 to 99 will remain the same, but all others will change.
TWC will group like channels together at the 100 level and above. For example, all entertainment channels will be in the 100s and all sports channels in the 300s.
Time Warner customers also will be able to automatically get the high-definition version of a channel if it's available, rather than having to search for it.
The changes may require subscribers to update their digital video recorder (DVR) settings.
In August 2014, TWC replaced WOWT with Superior-based KSNB, which features news and sports out of Hastings, as the high-definition NBC affiliate.
