New Hope-based Liberty Diversified International has selected Matt Homan as president and CEO.
Homan will lead the day-to-day management of the company, which manufactures packaging, office furniture and building products, the company said in a press release. He will report to Mike Fiterman, chairman of the board.
Before joining Liberty Diversified, Homan was president of the Off-Road Vehicles Division of Medina-based Polaris Industries, where he held a variety of leadership positions. Previously, he worked in marketing for General Mills and West Publishing, now Thomson Reuters.
“In addition to his successful track record growing businesses, Matt’s deep manufacturing expertise and proven leadership abilities will be essential as LDI celebrates its 100th anniversary in business and prepares for the next century of success,” said Fiterman. “Matt is an exceptional, authentic leader who has embraced our deeply held values and is ready to lead LDI as we grow to a $1 billion company and beyond. We are incredibly fortunate to welcome him to the LDI family.”
Founded in 1918, Liberty Diversified International is a $675 million privately held family of businesses with more than 1,800 employees and 20 facilities throughout the U.S. and Mexico.
