Vancouver exercise equipment company Nautilus, Inc., is 23rd and Lithia Motors of Medford is 40th on Fortune's 100 Fastest Growing Companies list.

Of Nautilus, Fortune says:
This maker of gym equipment has been toning itself back into shape--but (like most of us) hasn't retained the muscly peak of its younger days.
Of Lithia (which earlier this year was added to the Fortune 500 list):
"What's it going to take to put you in this ... chain of auto dealerships? Lithia is accelerating because of nine acquisitions and the auto industry comeback."
Elsewhere, Lannett, a Philadelphia pharmaceuticals company is ranked No. 1, Skechers U.S.A. of Manhattan Beach, California, is 21st and Under Armour of Baltimore is 62nd.
Fortune has a lengthy list of requirements for company qualifiers. For starters:
To qualify, a company-domestic or foreign-must be trading on a major U.S. stock exchange; report data in U.S. dollars; file quarterly reports with the SEC; have a minimum market capitalization of $250 million and a stock price of at least $5 on June 30, 2015; and have been trading continuously since June 30, 2012. Companies must have revenue and net income for the four quarters ended on or before April 30, 2015, of at least $50 million and $10 million, respectively; and have posted an annualized growth in revenue and earnings per share of at least 15% annually over the three years ended on or before April 30, 2015.
Nautilus closed down 75 cents, or 4.28 percent, on Wednesday on the New York Stock Exchange at $16.76. Its 52-week high is $22.95. Lithia Motors closed down $1.98, or 1.73 percent, at $112.71 on the NYSE with a 52-week high of $122.01.
