ATLANTA, March 26, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Newell Rubbermaid (NYSE:NWL) announced today that Bradford Turner, has been appointed Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, effective April 1, 2015. He will serve on the company's Executive Leadership Team and will report directly to Newell Rubbermaid President and Chief Executive Officer Michael Polk.

Turner most recently served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, after serving in a variety of roles within the Legal Services Department. Prior to this arrival at Newell Rubbermaid in 2004, he was an associate with Troutman Sanders LLP. Turner is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, and serves as Chair of the Executive Committee of the Corporate Counsel Section. He also serves as President of the Writing Instrument Manufacturers Association. He holds both a law degree and an accounting degree from the University of Georgia, both with magna cum laude honors.
