Tupperware Brands Corp. (TUP) Has Fallen To A New Low On Weak Outlook

Tupperware Brands Corp. (TUP) reported second quarter adjusted EPS of $1.21 Wednesday morning, down from $1.47 last year. Net sales declined to $588.9 million from $674.3 million in the previous year. The consensus estimates were for EPS of $1.17 and revenues of $590.59 million.

The company expects to report third quarter adjusted EPS of $0.69 to $0.74 and between $4.42 and $4.52 for the full year. Analysts are expecting EPS of $0.83 and $4.66.

Tupperware Brands gapped open lower Wednesday and is now down 6.38 at $58.00 on above average volume. The stock has dropped below support and has set a new low for the year.
