The ridiculousness of the Power Rangers franchise is directly proportional to its incredible multimedia success. Those who cut their teeth on the series have now come of age, and their desire to surround themselves with the flames of youth grows warmer each day.
If you're a diehard Power Rangers fan, you no doubt have a few Funko Pop Vinyl figures standing guard on a display shelf or your desk. Of the many variations of Power Ranger Pops, these are definitely the best and most desirable.
Alpha 5
The Rangers' robotic assistant and friend Alpha 5 is a Walmart exclusive Pop. Grab one and imagine it doling out nasally wisdom, or transporting you from the mall and into your new life as a monster-battling super-teen.
Red Ranger
The first wave of Power Rangers Pops included just 3 figures, and the Red Ranger was among them. There are newer variations on the Red Power Ranger Funko Pop figures, but none of them are quite as desirable as the original Red Ranger.
Morphing Blue Ranger
This GameStop exclusive Morphing Blue Ranger Funko Pop is made of a sparkly blue translucent plastic that looks really awesome. Pink, Black, Red, and Yellow Rangers also come in the GameStop-exclusive morphing variations, but the Blue Ranger really... well, pops.
Pink Ranger
Here's another of the original 3 Power Ranger Pops. The Pink Ranger Funko Pop is also available in more recent variations, but the fact the #24 Pink Ranger is locked up in the secret, underground Funko vault makes it just that much cooler.
White Ranger
This is the first, and best, in the series of the original Power Ranger Pops. The White Ranger Funko Pop is a nice middle ground between newer iterations and the much-desired, super-rare Glow-in-the-Dark variant. If you want to get into serious collecting, this a great place to start. Plus everyone knows the White Ranger is the coolest one.
GameStop Exclusive Black Friday Metallic Yellow Ranger
This Metallic Yellow Ranger Pop glitters with gold, making it highly sought after by collectors and leprechauns alike. This gold chase variant is a tweak to the metallic Yellow Ranger, also a GameStop exclusive. But it's golden, which is way better.
NYCC 2016 Green Ranger
This exclusive Green Power Ranger Pop was made available only at New York Comic Con in 2016. On top of being rare, it's also metallic, which is scientifically proven to raise levels of coolness by at least 10 percent, if not more.
Glow in the Dark White Ranger
This 2013 San Diego Comic Con exclusive White Ranger Pop has it all: it's hard to find, it's arguably the coolest Ranger, and it glows in the dark. If you're looking to pick one up, prepare to shell out some serious cash, but if you're a completionist or you just really like the White Ranger, this is a must-have.
