Syntel Inc. (SYNT) Has Fallen To A 4-Month Low After Q3 Revenues Miss

Syntel Inc. (SYNT) reported third quarter EPS of $1.47 Thursday morning, up from $1.42 a year ago. Quarterly revenue rose 9 percent to $228.33 million from $209.87 million in the prior-year period. The consensus estimates were for EPS of $1.39 and revenues of $236.95 million.

The company raised its fiscal 2014 EPS forecast to between $5.60 and $5.70, from its prior range of $5.50 to $5.65. Analysts expect EPS of $5.62.

Syntel gapped open sharply lower Thursday morning and is now down 9.46 at $81.11 on above average volume. The stock has dropped to a 4-month low.
