WINSTON-SALEM, NC (April 20, 2018) - The Winston-Salem Dash are proud to announce that The Enrichment Center is their 2018 Charity Partner. The Dash will honor The Enrichment Center on Friday, April 20, during their 7 p.m. game against the Salem Red Sox at BB&T Ballpark.
The Enrichment Center helps adults with lifelong intellectual and developmental disabilities develop life skills, social skills and job skills through an arts-based program that stresses creativity and collaboration. Programming includes visual arts, performing arts and culinary arts.

Located on South Marshall Street in Winston-Salem, The Enrichment Center was founded in 1983 by a group of concerned parents who wanted to create a continuous learning environment for their adult children with lifelong intellectual and developmental disabilities. This year, they are celebrating their 35th anniversary.
We're so grateful to be the Dash's 2018 Charity Partner," said Gina Miller, The Enrichment Center Development Director. "This partnership will bring awareness to the community of what The Enrichment Center is and the quality services we provide to the individuals and families we serve. Our mission is to empower and enrich adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by helping our participants have what everyone deserves-the best life possible."
Currently, The Enrichment Center serves nearly 200 local individuals and their families, empowering them through art, education and employment. Visit www.enrichmentarc.org for more information.
The partnership between the Dash and The Enrichment Center extends past this year's charity partnership. Since the Dash's inception in 2009, and even in years' prior, the team has provided gameday employment opportunities to The Enrichment Center participants. The Dash have also provided tickets to students and staff, as well as welcome students for the ceremonial first pitch and invited the organization's voice ensemble to sing the National Anthem at BB&T Ballpark.
The Dash's Charity Partner benefits from the proceeds of the club's Commemorative Brick Program. Through the program, fans can purchase engraved bricks that are installed outside of BB&T Ballpark's main gates beyond right-center field. The Enrichment Center will also receive deliverables equivalent to a Dominant-level partner to spread its message to Dash fans all season long. Here is a list of the Dash's past charity partners:
