VASCO Data Security International, Inc. (VDSI), a global leader in authentication, electronic signatures, and identity management, today announced that eSignLive, the e-signature choice for business, has launched the Spring '16 Release for its cloud electronic signature software.

This release delivers the power, usability and accessibility that regulated industries require and further advances eSignLive's global presence making it a leading choice for digital transformation across industries and geographies.

Power to do business globally

eSignLive provides a new option for organizations that operate in industries and geographies requiring the use of personal digital certificates and smartcards for signing documents. In Europe, the new eIDAS Regulation, which supports the European Commission's focus on Europe's Digital Agenda, clearly defines the legal effect of electronic signatures. With the Spring '16 release, European organizations can now leverage eSignLive's out-of-the-box support for Qualified Certificates obtained from a Qualified Trust Service Provider (QTSP), ensuring they meet the eIDAS requirements for Qualified Electronic Signatures.

In tandem, the new eSignLive APEX Software Developer Kit (SDK) enables developers building on Salesforce and the Force.com platform to quickly add best-in-class e-signature capabilities to custom apps. Further, the update to the eSignLive app for Salesforce provides a tighter integration with Salesforce allowing a more streamlined sender experience, including support for the new Salesforce Lightning Experience.

Ease of use and global accessibility

The Spring '16 Release brings an intuitive sender interface that provides business users with the simplest way to prepare and send documents for signature. The single-page design has been enhanced and incorporates responsive design to provide an optimal experience across all devices. Tracking the status of transactions throughout the signing process is handled by a built-in dashboard which offers visual snapshots and real-time data for expediting signatures.

This release also brings the eSignLive for iPad app, offering the easiest way to prepare and send documents for signing on the iPad. This app allows easy access to documents kept in cloud storage services including Google Drive, Box and Microsoft OneDrive. In addition to an updated dashboard to monitor transactions, the new app also offers offline signing functionality for use cases with no or limited connectivity.

Global and industry-specific support

eSignLive is supported with local data centers in Europe and Australia, making it easier for organizations to move business processes to the cloud. eSignLive also recently launched the first comprehensive e-signature solution in a FedRAMP SaaS-level compliant cloud and is the only e-signature solution to comply with the U.S. government's "Cloud First" initiative and FedRAMP security standards.
