Capital goods stocks finished up broadly on Wall Street today, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 1.4%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 0.9%, the Nasdaq rose 0.4% and the S&P 500 was up 0.9%.

Some of the biggest gainers among capital goods stocks include:

• Terex Corp (TEX): TEX stock is up 5.1% today.

• Flowserve Corp (FLS): FLS stock is up 5.0%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Granite Construction Inc (GVA): GVA stock is up 4.4%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Pentair Ltd (PNR): PNR stock is up 4.2% today.

• Colfax Corp (CFX): CFX stock is up 3.9%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Timken Company (TKR): TKR stock is up 3.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Kennametal Inc (KMT): KMT stock is up 3.0% today.

• Barnes Group (B): B stock is up 3.1%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Chicago Bridge & Iron Company N.V. (CBI): CBI stock is up 2.9%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• The Middleby Corp (MIDD): MIDD stock is up 2.9%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

Some of the biggest losers among capital goods stocks include:

• Heico Cp Cl A (HEI.A): HEI.A stock is down 0.6% today.

• BE Aerospace (BEAV): BEAV stock is down 0.4% today.

• Beacon Roofing Supply (BECN): BECN stock is down 0.3% today.
