Rockford IceHogs News Release

Rockford, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the 2015 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks, have extended their television broadcast agreement with Gray Television, Inc. (23-WIFR) through the 2016-17 season.

New this season, all 76 Rockford IceHogs regular season games will be available on WIFR's Justice Network on 23.3. The IceHogs had previously been carried on WIFR 23.2 Antenna TV since the 2012-13 campaign.

"WIFR has been a valued partner of the IceHogs and we look forward to growing our brand on the Justice Network on 23.3 beginning this fall," said IceHogs Director of Business Operations Mike Peck. "WIFR has provided us a great platform over the past three seasons to broadcast our games live, locally right here in the Rockford market and we are excited to continue that for the next two campaigns."

The Justice Network will carry all 76 regular season games for the IceHogs 2015-16 and 2016-17 season slates. Each broadcast will begin with "IceHogs Warm Up" 30 minutes prior to the scheduled puck drop. The Justice Network is also available to Mediacom subscribers on channel 102 and to Comcast subscribers on channel 434 (Rockford) and 356 (Rochelle) starting on September 9. WIFR is currently working with Charter for a permanent channel for the network.

Join the new voice of the IceHogs, Bob Mills, for the action all season long. The puck drops on the team's 17th season on Friday, Oct. 9, as the IceHogs travel to San Jose, Cal. to battle the Barracuda. Rockford's Home Opener is scheduled for Saturday, Oct.17.
