Rock River Valley's first snowstorm elicits strong response on social media

As of 8 a.m. today, the Rock River Valley had seen 8 to 12 inches of snowfall, according to the National Weather Service. As of 10:30 a.m. today, it was 28 degrees in Rockford and 26 degrees in Freeport.
