BLOOMINGTON — Cassandra Rackauskas and Cory Matney, both of Nashville, Tenn., were married at 5 p.m. Oct. 4, 2014, at The Baskin Chapel at Brentwood Baptist Church in Brentwood, Tenn.
The bride's parents are Dr. Gregory and Elizabeth Rackauskas of Bloomington. The groom's parents are Michael and Deborah Matney of Franklin, Tenn.
Christopher Cushing was the man of honor and Maggie Whitaker was the maid of honor. John Michael Matney was the best man. Jarrod Rackauskas, Eric Lackey, Matthew Metcalf and Joshua Jones were ushers. Ava Rackauskas was the flower girl. Paxton Rackauskas, Christianson Rackauskas, Eli Samuelson and Clark Samuelson were ring bearers.Â
The reception was at East Ivy Mansion of Historic Edgefield in Nashville, Tenn. A wedding trip is planned to the French Polynesia in 2016.
The bride received a bachelor of science degree from Illinois State University, followed by a doctorate of medicine degree from The Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and New York Medical College. She is a clinical liaison in medical affairs for the Incyte Corp.

The groom received a bachelor of business administration degree from Middle Tennessee State University. He is a sales representative for Cox Interior Incorporated.
The couple resides in Nashville, Tenn.
